Great stay!
We were greeted by one of the owners and was given a quick tour of the property. He was friendly and welcoming. He even joined us by the fire-ring later that evening. If was awesome that he was supportive of gay guests and their family. The decor was super fun and the common area was a fun place to hang out
I am going to recommend Sessions Resort to anyone coming to bear. The property is so cool and Frank and Syd were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was so cute and warm! Can’t beat the location either, literally 2 minutes from Snow Summit. I cannot wait to come back!
Great escape for groups, families and couples or solo travelers. The property is undergoing extensive renovations for both rooms and amenities and there is a ton of potential for future fun. The property currently has fire pits, a communal kitchen (which was extremely clean), horse shoes, tether ball and basketball hoop. I noticed a family with children relaxing in the lodge and watching a cartoon together while another family played pool. During our stay, we also noticed a group of bikers and a few couples. It was a mix of travelers but the property was quiet – though this will likely change once the season gets into full swing. Eventually there will be an onsite bar/lounge . Frank, the proprietor, was friendly and helpful. He took time to give us a tour and explain the features of the resort and give us a sneak peek of what’s to come. The resort is within walking distance of dining, convenience stores and even Snow Summit. We will definitely be booking future stays.
Excellent property under new ownership since last year, our room was recently renovated and very comfortable. He is also very friendly and helpful to PCT hikers, giving us a ride to the trailhead. The lodge had a really comfortable living room area and we had use of the full kitchen. Outside were games and seating areas for families. I definitely would stay again if we returned to Big Bear LakeMy dog and I loved this place!
The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay if you’re traveling with your dog. It is centrally located in town. Looking forward to staying thee again soon.
